Athens Public Transit finds for you the shortest route between two locations, using only Athens Public Transportation. Just specify your location and your destination, through the app’s intuitive and easy to use interface, and you’re ready to go! It’s an app that you cannot miss.

Athens Public Transit provides:
– Locating your location and/or destination through Bing Maps or addresses
– Survey of your route on Bing Maps
– Detailed instructions about the route you should follow (lines and stations to take)
– Route management (save/delete routes)
– Survey of available transport lines on Bing Maps

Supported Transport Lines:
– Metro (fully)
– Electric Railway (fully)
– Tram (fully)
– Bus (partly, a few lines are available)
– Trolley (partly, a few lines are available)
New transport lines will be added at regular intervals

Athens Public Transit uses Bing Maps services in order to display routes on map and address resolution. To do that, an internet connection is needed. But, after route is calculated, no internet access is needed for all other app’s functions. Also, GPS usage is allowed only after user permits it from app’s options.
